How We Work

How does Design A Closet work for you? First we give you a free in-home design consultation. Our designers are trained to plan units that are unique to your home. Most appointments take about an hour. We measure your space, then show you ideas and samples to help you create a design just right for you.

After the design has been completed, you have the choice to add accessories and decide on the best colors and finishes. We can match stain finishes to ones you already have in your home, match or coordinate colors to whatever is best for your decor, and we even can offer custom finishes, including special glazing and antiquing. Once the designs and finishes are finalized, we plan an installation date according to your schedule.

The next step is the installation. Our installers are trained to install your units very carefully and quickly. The installer first will remove all baseboard, rods, and cleats so the unit can lay flush against the wall, and then will install the new unit following strict company guidelines to ensure quality.

Design A Closet is licensed, bonded and insured, and has all the permits and licenses required by the state of Arizona, so you and your home are fully protected.
